    Nicely written! Looking back I can remember seeing the very changes you mentioned after my wife's chemo visits though I wouldn't have been able to identify the differences then. I hope to see you in Cleveland and Michigan this year! Stinky, out!

    I love to read your writing because you reward me for it.
    You hook me with one thing -- a story, almost always -- but then you change directions and I start to wonder, "but I want to go back there" and you don't whisper anything back, you just smile, sometimes less than smile, but I know, there is a payoff, she's going somewhere, just wait, just enjoy it.

    And then, there it is. The payoff.

    Thank you for a great lunch break, and for the reminder of mercy. Tucked away yet right out in the open! On an empty walking trail and in a full cancer ward and in a car ride by yourself.
