Beautiful....Fathers are such an important part of their daughter's lives. Thanks for sharing.

That was beautiful. You are truly a special lady.

My dad died on January 19th in 1997. He was 76. I still miss him, especially when I listen to a CUBS game.

A great tribute to your very fun daddy! Everyone who knew him loved him!

I went to bed after reading this post and, as I lay there thinking about your Dad, I remembered one of his games. "Let's See Who Can Carry The Largest Shovelful of Manure From the Stall To the Wagon". Man, I actually had fun doing that. Of course, the game he was probably playing in his mind was "Let's See How Many Weeks I Can Get Free Labor From The Friends My Kids Bring Home After Church". Then again, I'll never forget his adage...
One Girl = One Job
Two Girls = Half a Job
Three Girls = No Job!
Thanks for the memories!
